I Didn't Promise You a Fourth Sun

– my site-specific installation and exhibition at RaxworX continues | Holes in Light performance returns July 18 & Sept. 19

Thank you to everyone who joined the opening of my site-specific installation I Didn’t Promise You a Fourth Sun and the performance Holes in Light at RaxworX, the new art and culture centre in Hirschwang / Reichenau an der Rax.

RaxworX, a project by Dr.Maria Rennhofer  and Walter Asmus by CityLoftArt GmbH, is housed in a former church that has now entered a new chapter as a space for contemporary art, performance, music and literature. The transformation of this building — once a spiritual gathering place, now a cultural one — gives a very special resonance to my installation, which was conceived specifically for this site.

I Didn’t Promise You a Fourth Sun transforms the former church into a contemplative universe woven from recycled handmade lace, plexiglass sculptures, light, sound and video. Conceived as a poetic database of emotions, the installation reflects on textile memory, our interconnected existence on Earth, and the acceptance of human mortality.

Throughout the exhibition, the sound installation Angel of Passion accompanies visitors like an invisible thread, while Holes in Light extends these reflections through live action, analogue photography, shadow imagery and satellite observations of Earth’s “tender zones.”

For those who could not attend the opening, I warmly invite you to visit the exhibition during the summer and to join one of the next performances.
