Eva Petrič: We are like butterflies…

In the unique ambiance of the Križevniška Church, artist Eva Petrič will stage the immersive performance We are like butterflies – between Holes in Light, which combines video, sound and an installation of hybrid butterflies into a suggestive dialogue about humans and their impact on the planet.

In times of rapid change, in which we are also changing, this project offers a space for contemplation, hope and an artistic appeal for coexistence.

Inspired by John Lennon's song Imagine, the artist raises the question of whether global connectivity and peace is just a utopian desire or an achievable reality.

Križevniška Church

The doors to the performance venue will open a few minutes before 9 pm. The performance will begin at 9 pm sharp.

The performance will resonate into the multimedia installation We are like butterflies..., which will be on display at the Križevniška Church from July 18 to August 10, 2025.
