About the event
SURRaGATE LANDSCAPES | KÜNSTLERHAUS KINO SPEKTRUM 2026
Vienna | Tuesday, October 13, 2026 | 8 PM
Stadtkino im KünstlerhausI am delighted that my video SURRaGATE LANDSCAPES (2025, 4:55 min) has been selected for this year’s Künstlerhaus Kino Spektrum 2026 – Freies Kino in Vienna. program KH freies kino program KH freies kino, initiated and curated by Hubert Sielecki and co-curated by Holger Lang.
In SURRaGATE LANDSCAPES, I explore the psychological condition of displacement — a person finding herself in a world of substitute landscapes and substitute lives. Questions of migration, belonging and identity unfold through landscapes that are simultaneously physical, remembered and imagined.
The screening brings together a selection of experimental film and animation and will be followed by an opportunity for exchange and discussion.
You are warmly invited to join me in Vienna!
