About the event
If you are planning a visit to Nova Gorica, I warmly invite you to make a stop along the way in the town of Ajdovščina and visit the Regional Art Museum, the Veno Pilon Gallery. Currently on view is the exhibition A Decade and a Half of New Acquisitions.
Among the exhibited artworks is also my conceptual photography piece pH Scale of E@motion – RE-acting = S&P161E11sH5 / pH14, which is part of the Veno Pilon Gallery’s permanent collection. The work was acquired over the past 15 years and has been selected for presentation in the current exhibition, on view since November and running through February 2026.
You are kindly invited to visit the exhibition and to learn more about Veno Pilon, the once highly influential Slovenian photographer who lived and worked for most of his life in Paris and who continues to inspire many contemporary photographers today.
