Worlds of Drops / Drops of Worlds

From today onwards, my lace works: Worlds of Drops, Drops of Worlds are shown at the  5th Avenue windows of the Bergdorf Goodman in New York City, as a part of the Fiber Art exhibition including also the works of some other artists exhibiting in the Bergdorf Goodman windows on 58th street.

Created from recycled handmade laces from all over the world, Worlds of Drops/ Drops of Worlds contain drops of individuals‘ memories and emotions in our world... these also being often teardrops, be it from joy or pain, reflecting all the possible other worlds in its droplets... floating in the black ocean of space, visible to our mind's eye as droplets…

Fiber Art will be displayed at the Bergdorf Goodman windows from today till August 28th. Come and visit it rain or shine/ night or day….

This is already my third collaboration with Bergdorf Goodman; in 2013 we collaborated with my shadow works in all the 5 Bergdorf Goodman windows and in 2015 we collaborated again for the fashion week with my lace assemblages. Thank you especially to David Hoey for his trust and amazing expertise!
