About the Event
If you are searching for an art gallery that is one of a kind, then Olfactory Art Keller in NYC is it! It’s lead by the amazingly creative scientist/gallerist Andreas Keller where Iv had the joy and honor to exhibit my creations in olfactory dimension already three times.
Kindly invited to join the olfactory_art_keller at its event for the World Taste and Smell Day on September 14, Thursday from 5 to 8pm.The multimedia artist Adnan Aga, who was born without a sense of smell, built an experimental prosthetic device in the shape of a wall-mounted nose which uses Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence to predict the smell of any object presented to it. This device, which the artist called "Adnose", does serve not only as Adnan's nose, but as the nose of all members of the anosmic community who constantly wonder what the things around them smell like. The artist hopes that his project will draw attention to the often-neglected sense of smell and to the challenges faced by those who can't smell. In addition to the Adnose, unique works of olfactory art from three of the most innovative contemporary scent artists, Hannah Marcus, M Dougherty, and Eva Petric, are on display and for sale with a percentage of the proceeds donated to the World Taste & Smell Association!”
To all those who are not familiar with World taste and smell Association, they are an organization helping those who have lost their ability to taste and smell, and thus an essential and often taken for granted attribute of life. Olfactory will present my works “Collective Memory”, “ADBE -A Message from Earth"(in collaboration with Mateja S. Dimic) and “Ophelia “.
