Launch and Mood

With introductions of Marija Šikoronja / gallery owner, Franz Richau Bürgermeister / Mayor, Dr. Anton Novak / Consul General of Slovenia, Dr. Peter Kaiser Landeshauptmann / Governer of Carinthia Music: The Talltones Richard Klammer, Emil Krištof, Primus Sitter, Karen Asatrian Works of art by Slovenian and Carinthian artists are on display in the garden and in the gallery.

I am honored that the curator Tanja Prušnik invited me to participate in the Šikoronja Gallery, which has been promoting Slovenian culture in Carinthia, Austria, for decades. 

She chose two of my works for the exhibition on the occasion of this important jubilee of the Slovenian state:"Fake a sun", photography in a light box, and the work "I wish my shadow" from the year 2008.

The curator and the artist herself, Tanja Prušnik, also drew attention to the long-term work of Ms. Marija Šikoronja, who has been promoting Slovene artists from the Austrian and Slovene sides of the border for decades, alongside Austrian artists.
