About the Event

I am excited to participate at the Parallel Sculpture park in collaboration with Rudolf Leeb Galerie with my „DataBank@FutureGarden“ recycled plexi glass hand engraved plates appearing in their particular sequence as xylophones audiovizing 3 particular emotions through 3 particular "plants" : Mars for Curiosity; Earth for Empathy and Dark side of the Moon for MoonH2O. Kindly invited to visit them day&night as a part of the Parallel fair at Gmunden from June 28th onwards till end of summer.

Galerie Rudolf Leeb shows the three-part installation DataBank@FutureGarden from Eva Petrič and the sculpture IKIGAI from Viktoria Morgenstern.

Eva Petrič is a transmedia artist who lives and works in New York, Vienna and Ljubljana and interweaves the media of photography, video, sound, performance and scents as well as installations on various levels.

She graduated in psychology and fine arts from Webster University in Vienna in 2005 and received her master's degree in new media from the Transart Institute Berlin / Danube University Krems in 2010. Her work has been shown in more than 100 solo and over 140 group exhibitions around the world. She has created more than 30 large-scale site-specific installations based on assemblages of found and recycled lace interwoven with video, sound, scent, performance and choreographic movement.

The Parallel Sculpture Park is freely accessible throughout the entire period and invites visitors to linger on the island. A large selection of contemporary sculptures by internationally active artists are on display across the entire area.

The Toscana Park in Gmunden offers beautiful walking paths along the lake and around the Villa Toscana, which can be experienced in a new way through the sculptures. PARALLEL VIENNA is committed to promoting the cultural scene together with the Salzkammergut Festwochen Gmunden.
