About the Event
The blue sea encircling the Brioni Islands inspired me for my video On the day of my birth. The sea waves were the background for my performance to highlight the World Water Day at the World Expo Dubai this March. In an upgraded three channel version it is currently part of the May Salon, the oldest juried art show in Slovenia existing continually from 1909. This year the May Salon is taking place at Kibla Portal in Maribor, Valvasorjeva ul. 40. You are kindly invited to visit it till July 13.
This year’s theme of the May Salon is dedicated to the concept of the “Blue Line” that connects the visual arts and creative ideas from classic to technologically advanced works already for the last 500 years.
