About the Event

For the ninth time, the heart of old Kranj, Slovenia, turned into a large cultural venue for one month. From the end of September to November 3, 300 works created by 100 selected artists from 25 countries are presented there at 18 locations. The artistic director of the festival, Klavdij Tutta, and his team dedicated this year's 9th International Fine Arts Festival Kranj to interesting artistic processing: collage and assemblage. It is presented under the common title Recycled Stories.

My works are presented in the medieval Škrlovec Tower - in the Janez Puhar Gallery, in the excellent company of five other artists: Klementina Golija, Maruša Štibelj, Marko Tušek, Vinko Tušek and Klavdija Tutta.

I introduce myself with Blueprint of idealism, a segment from my opus Gr@y matter - the language of shadows.

"Eva Petrič creates intermedia, conceptual art, photography, performance, poetry, literature and design in different levels of the atmosphere of space. Her focus is on the relationship between light and shadow created by the appearance of the body. These constellations reveal various emotional reflections from the conscious to the unconscious and the desired or the traumatic, creating reflections of shadow photographs that are multifaceted and reach into the depths of the surrounding experiences. environment and the search for all perceptions of humanity."
